ConnectMe is the novel of the “TikTok” generation. And literature must keep up with evolution. It seems that today’s world is captivated by screens filled with short, fast videos, and no one has the time or patience to read anymore. But what if literature also dressed itself in the clothes of contemporaneity? After all, what is the purpose of a book? To open minds, develop vocabulary, thinking, curiosity, and imagination. But when you have an entire generation that, with the help of gadgets, has learned to think and perceive the surrounding reality differently, isn’t it time to rebrand literature so that people remain connected to this fabulous universe of writing?
We invite you to read this short story and give a chance to a new literary genre. It may seem trivial, but appearances are deceiving. From the few dilemmas this book proposes, we present a few: who are the five girls, how old are they, what connection exists between them, what kind of writing is it – romance, educational, self-development, sci-fi – what are the main themes/ideas, what paradox does it provoke? What challenges do you find? What message do you resonate with?
